We’re having Internet access issues at home and as I can’t update the blog at work we’re going to possibly have fewer updates than normal over the next few weeks.
The open field we walked through to get down towards the stream that ran along the valley that the Sanctuary called home
For now we’re up in New Mills with Patricia and Sam and hogging their Internet access so there will be updates for a few days at least. Today we visited an Otter and Owl sanctuary and spent a lot of time watching the otters, many of which were obviously pinning for their dinner and making a lot of noise. There were many varieties of Owls as well, most of which were content to sit and spy on us as we wandered past their enclosures.

There were a few other animals as well; deer in a field we walked through, a cute little Polecat that came to life as we passed it for a second time, a fox looked quite content spying on us from behind a low tree and a couple of Scottish Wildcats that were more concerned with each other than the people watching on.
