The falcon fledges

Over the past few weeks the young falcon ball of fluff has become a falcon fledgling. Repeat visits have been rewarded with repeat viewings of the rapidly growing youngster as it got bolder, bigger and then started making short hops that eventually turned into flying.

Nearly all grown up.

In another few weeks the parents will have done all they can to teach their offspring how to fend for himself and they’ll stop feeding him. With luck they’ll then go through the whole process again and there will be another falcon brought into the world.
