The last month has been very wet pretty much country wide. We had flooding outside our house again though only a very small amount got inside this time. The landlord’s father visited to clear out some of the water in front of the house and told us that a week or so ago he was out in front of the house at 1am using buckets to try and deal with the building water (it rained an awful lot that night). Turns out he was there for a couple of hours bailing and we didn’t even know. He is a very selfless man.
